Do you have a free day, maybe before a Kilimanjaro trekking adventure, or are you waiting for a flight to your next destination? 1 African safaris and tours provide just the answer for you, to get a brief but unforgettable African wildlife safari experience in one of three or four Tanzanian National Parks. Packages for our 1-day safaris, tours, travel or even photographic safaris to any of the abovementioned three Tanzanian National Parks can be arranged to start from Arusha town or Moshi.
Mount Kilimanjaro Day Hike
You love to get a glimpse of Kilimanjaro the top of Africa, the highest free-standing mountain in the world, but your time, physical and financial ability don't allow you to get to the summit? We can arrange that on a private basis which you can start on any day of the year but recommended before safari.

Arusha National Park
After breakfast you will drive to Arusha National Park for game drive. It’s about 1-hrs drive from Arusha Town.
We depart from your hotel in Arusha with lunch boxes. We go through Arusha National Park, where we view the herds of buffalo in the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, the flamingos of the Momela Lakes, and the imposing peak of rugged Mount Meru. Arusha National park houses a variety of wildlife, including giraffe, zebra, colobus monkeys, leopards and hyenas, in the park’s small but bustling 53 square miles of natural habitats. Enjoy a picnic lunch while gazing at the rolling hills and wooded savannahs of this national treasure.
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast you will drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive. It’s about 2.5-hrs drive from Arusha Town. The park consists of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.
This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.
Lake Manyara Natioal Park
After breakfast you will drive to Manyara for game drive. It’s about 2hrs drive from Arusha Town. The park have varied habitat that attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, baboons, warthog, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.
