Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival JRO- Arusha

  On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by your transfer driver who will drive you for about 90 minutes to your hotel in Arusha. Look out for iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru out of your right-hand window on the way if the Mother Nature allow. 

• Day 2: Arusha - Lake Eyasi

  After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, driven through the Ngorongoro highlands and down into the Lake Eyasi. Arrive in the late afternoon, this trip offers a unique chance to learn and witness first-hand how the Hadzabe and Datoga live off the land.

• Day 3: Lake Eyasi - Serengeti National Park

  After another tasty breakfast with packed lunches, you will begin your journey to the endless plains of Serengeti through Ngorongoro Conservancy with optional visit to Olduvai Gorge-an important archaeological site for Dr. Leakey’s family where fossils of mankind and animals dating millions of years are stored.

• Day 4: Serengeti National Park - Full Day Game Drive

  After another tasty breakfast, we proceed to the Central part of Serengeti. This park is well-known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the "big five", named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffaloes, and Rhinos.

• Day 5: Serengeti National Park-Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  Today you will wake up very early to do an early morning safari before breakfast, to spot the animals when they are more active and also to have a fantastic sun rise in front of you.

• Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

  You’ll want to get an early start so that you are amongst the first people down on the crater floor. Not only is that when it is quietest, but the lighting conditions are at their best, and the resident animals are at their most active too. You’ll have some morning coffee and breakfast on the crater floor before going on an unforgettable game drive.

• Day 7: Arusha - Kilimanjaro Int. Airport (JRO)

  After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel you will be driven back to Kilimanjaro International airport depending on your departure flight schedule back home.
